New Roof Installation FAQ
Do you work with builders and general contractors?
Yes — most of our new-construction installs are GC-coordinated. We have ongoing relationships with several Suffolk County builders and can fit into your project workflow.
What underlayment do you use?
Synthetic underlayment across the field (durable, tear-resistant) with ice-and-water shield at eaves, valleys, and all penetrations — meeting or exceeding Suffolk County code.
Can you handle complex dormer or hip geometry?
Yes. Multi-dormer colonials, cross-gable rooflines, and hip-and-valley homes are routine for our crews. Flashing at every transition is the difference between a 30-year roof and a leak.
What warranty applies to a new install?
Limited lifetime warranty on materials and labor as standard. Qualifying GAF systems can be upgraded to the Golden Pledge warranty — covering both materials and workmanship for the life of the home.
How much lead time do you need?
Typically 2-4 weeks from contract signature to install start, depending on materials availability and Town permit timing. Tight schedules can usually be accommodated.
